I just had to write up a short bio for an abstract. I thought I'd throw it up here as it kind of represents what I might be doing.

M. Cameron Jones is a Doctoral Student in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His work focuses on the design and implementation of collaborative software in group, work and community settings, focusing on facilitating the rapid adoption and integration of these technologies into existing communication and collaboration practices. He has worked on developing community inquiry labs (iLabs) since 2003, testing design methodologies and technologies in an inquiry-based approach to software development. The work to develop community inquiry labs is being carried out as part of the NSF Advanced Materials for Water Purification Science and Technology Center, as well as through local community-based projects involving SisterNet in Champaign-Urbana and the Puerto Rican Cultural Center in Chicago (http://www.prcc-chgo.org).
