Courses across campus
From GSLISWiki
The University of Illinois is one of the great universities of the world. There are so many excellent courses, colloquia, discussion groups, workshops, and other activities that no one person could hope to take advantage of even a small fraction of what is available. These are resources for every conceivable area of education. Taking courses outside of your department or school is not only OK, it's also a way to enrich your whole program. You can find these through cross-disciplinary programs, such as the Center for Writing Studies, the Unit for Criticism and Interpretive Theory, as well as through informal networks of students and faculty.
