The style of the food and the service is somewhere between Mcdonald's and HouseOfGourmet, which partly reflects Hawaii's multiethnic population including Japanese, Filipino, Chinese, Korean and Pacific Islander. The boss is said to be a Taiwanese.

On 2 June, it looked rather abandoned. Is that location cursed? Or have the restaurants that have gone in there just been really poorly thought-out?

Note: The previous tenant at this location was a place called The Happy Wanderer. They tried to do everything, which will always doom a restaurant to failure.
