Inquiry Research Group
From GSLISWiki
This is a discussion group sponsored by the Community Informatics Initiative.
We focus on research, especially around learning (in schools, libraries, museums, community centers, and other settings). We will consider issues of problem formulation, theory, methodology, analysis, interpretation, writing, and application. The group provides opportunities to share and critique work in progress, discuss research methods or new ideas, or to talk about any sorts of issues related to completing a PhD.
Typically, each meeting starts with a brief presentation of someone's research project, followed by open discussion both to further that project and to draw implicatons for others. The iLab for the group is at http://ilabs.inquiry.uiuc.edu/ilab/inquiry.
