Every year we have an informal Potluck for all PhD students, to provide an opportunity for the new students to get to know the rest of their classmates. All PhD students are invited to bring themselves and their family or friends, including spouses, significant others, children, parents, etc. New students do not have to bring any dishes, but they can if they would like to. Everybody else needs to bring one dish, some drinks, or a dessert.
We encourage all PhD students to attend!

- Cameron & Vandana: Tandoori Chicken
- Gina: 김밥
- Ingbert: some beer and some juice
- Sarah: if you're lucky, i'll bring homemade cheesecake ;o)
- Ellen R: wine
- Elizabeth: I'll bring something, but I don't know what just yet.
- Melissa: vegetarian things, most likely some combination of humous and grape leaves that I will pick up en route.
- Tom Dousa: will bring some wine and something for dessert (regrettably store-bought: I have limited culinary skills)
- Xiao Hu: Fried Dumplings, half vegie, half meat.
- Sophie & Gabriel: Veggie quiche and some desert.
- Matt Bejune: I plan on bringing a green bean salad or some other vegetarian side dish
- Loretta: I'll either bring festively arranged fruit or attempt an ice cream pie.
- Yeo Joo: cups and plates
- Sujin: napkins and plasticware
- Cindy: Butterscotch Pear Trifle with Pecans
- Muzhgan: Will make rice (Azeri style) and chicken as a side dish; planning to make a cake; and may be some easy vegetarian dish
