PhD Students send formal representatives to 3 Committees/Meetings:

It is traditional for one of the representatives to the DSC to be an international student, and for the other representative to be a US student. The goal of this tradition is to ensure that both viewpoints are heard, and to have multiple people for students to feel comfortable providing feedback to, in case there are personality conflicts. See the DSC Student Rep Duties page for more information.

We also organize an informal PhD Student Orientation Committee to orient new PhD students to the program. See the PhD Student Orientation Committee page for members and more information.
