Shane Beers

Shane Beers of Cleveland, Ohio is a current GSLIS student who will finish his M.S. and begin the Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in Digital Libraries program in the Fall of 2006. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Design in 2003 from the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. He has been involved in environmental design, print, web, and motion graphics projects, working in Cincinnati, New York City, and Boston. He is particularly interested in the digital preservation and archiving of audiovisual materials, and facilitating and managing access to this information.
